We are flexible and build special works, completely different from each other.
This is possible because we are able to use different materials at the same time:
• wood, a lightweight material, energy-efficient and with excellent aesthetic result;
• concrete, a structurally performing material which allows the use of reduced thickness
• steel, a useful material for creating complex forms, typical of contemporary architecture.
The Tree of Life, 36 meters high and with a crown of 40, built with the “Orgoglio Brescia” Consortium, has a laminated larch wood structure, consisting of 24 coils, 12 of which are right-handed and 12 left-handed.
Synergic use of materials
The Strand East Tower
Built in a month in the new Strand East district of London, on the occasion of the 2012 Olympic Games, the Strand East Tower is a tower with a strong aesthetic impact, with an elegant profile and great transparency, 40 meters high.
The Angola Pavilion at Expo 2015
To build the Angolan Pavilion, of 2,800 square meters, Wood Beton designed, provided and assembled the concrete, steel and wood structures, the walls and the decorative wall.
The ACI safe driving centre
The “Sassi” are two buildings located in the ex-Alfa Romeo area and they are the place of the Safe Driving Centre, in Lainate (Milan).
Symbol of innovation and technology
The UniCredit Pavilion is the symbol of innovation and technology, but also an icon of architecture for Milan.
Wood Beton built a bridge with a single span of 82 meters, on the Black Sea: the bridge is not only pedestrian but also vehicle access.
The real difficulty was the construction phase: it wasn’t possible to work on one of the two sides connected to the bridge, so for the launch phase it was necessary to invent something risky
